Leadership

Pastor Micah Ramsey

Micah Ramsey grew up on a farm in rural Ohio, graduating from high school in 1992. He then moved to Pittsburgh to attend Pittsburgh Technical Institute and earned a degree in Graphic Design. While at this time, not convinced of God’s justice and not having a relationship with Him, Micah lived in several places in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio. In 1997, while working as a graphic designer, the Holy Spirit used the influence of a new shop owner, a car accident, and a sermon to convict and convince Micah of his own sinfulness and guilt before God. He saw God’s kindness and mercy in sending His own Son to die for his sins, bringing Micah to saving faith!

From there he served as a volunteer in a nondenominational church, leading the youth and working with young adults to lead outreach. In 1999, he met and married his wife, Leslie. Micah was first ordained in that nondenominational church, then served in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. He went back to school in 2004, enrolling in The Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary, and in 2006 he started an internship at Eastvale RP Church. Micah and Leslie uprooted from Ohio and moved into the Eastvale parsonage with their three children. After graduating from RPTS with a Master of Divinity degree, he was ordained and installed as the Pastor of Eastvale RP Church in 2007.

Eastvale is blessed to have Micah as our pastor and he continues to faithfully serve Christ and His church.
